Great Finds From "The Happenings" Blog
Over at "The Happenings" blog http://jensedillo.blogspot.com/ there have been some really cute and incredible things for sale. These are some of my favorites below.
A Car Seat Cooler: a smaller one of these that only holds one ice pack would be nice to use for the kids when they get bumps and bruises
.
A Weekly Framed Menu Planner: I like this much better than mine! Uses a dry erase marker and wipes off. Love it!
Cute Ribbon holder: My daughter needs one of these still.
Princess Saying: My daughter is definitely a princess in our home or at least she thinks she is. :)
Another Saying: I really like this saying...

Mother's Day Gift Ideas
Walmart always has some creative photo gift ideas. Most of the time I love the ideas that cost more money then I can spend, but it's a great resource to get my creative juices going. :) https://www.walmart.com/subflow/YourAccountLoginContext/598965178/sub_generic_login/start.do?login=1

A Bookmark for Mom. I've always thought this was a fun idea from Make and Takes http://www.makeandtakes.com/

Super Simple Sugar Cookies
My little sister gave me a recipe once for easy sugar cookies made from a cake mix...I can't remember the recipe so I was glad to find this one off Skip To My Lou http://www.skiptomylou.org/2009/04/16/super-simple-sugar-cookies/ . My mouth is watering I really want a sugar cookie right now. :)
1 Cake Mix
2 Eggs
1/3 - 1/2 Cup canola oil (I used 1/2 cup this time. A 1/3 cup works great also -the batter is slightly more stiff so slightly flatten your balls)
.
Mix well and scoop (I use a 2 Tablespoon scoop) onto a parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 - 13 minutes. Cookies will be soft. Makes 20 cookies.
