Activity Village has a great little tutorial on making a Knights Helmet. Something my boy has been wanting to make for awhile, since he and his siblings love to pretend that they are knights and princesses. :)

Family Picture Wall Hanging
This is such a great idea and gift for Grandparents. I remember my Grandmother having all the family pictures on her wall this would be on a smaller scale which takes up less room. I like that idea.
These are from The Idea Room

Plan Ahead Meat Preparations
I think planning ahead and preparing any part of a meal to make things easier in the future is a marvelous idea. Here's some plan ahead tips from Clean Mama.
How to Avoid Taking Your Stress Out on Your Children
I like this article over at The Idea Room about avoiding taking our stress out on our children -
it's by Heather Johnson over at Family Volley.
I know I take a lot of my stress out on my kids and they don't deserve it. She gives 11 suggestions to helping us manage our stress and putting our kids first. This is just the simple list you will have to look up the article to get all the details, but I wanted to have it recorded somewhere for me to reference. :)
11 Suggestions to managing stress and putting our children first:
- Don't multi-task - Focus on your children
- See things from our children's perspective
- See our children as people
- Laugh
- Minimize
- Don't over schedule
- Establish routine
- Have realistic expectations
- Manage your time
- Plan ahead
- Play together as a family :)

Fabric Flowers
I am looking for a fabric flower to put on a baby headband. Here are a few that I have come up with so far.
has a list of fabric flowers as well. Most are similar to what I have, but it's kind of nice to see them in different colors and such. :)

Cupcake in a Jar
Have you ever heard of a cupcake in a jar? I was given one for my birthday and I loved it. I just came across this thank you one on brown paper packages.
Add a spoon with the ribbon and it's ready to give. This would work great for teacher appreciation as well.
Chore Charts
As summer fast approaches I am beginning to think about doing chore charts again. Check out Idaho Mom Of 2 Etsy's shop. She has some really cute ones like those below.

Painted Rugs
I have to admit that I have been kind of leary of this painted rug fad that is going around. Does the paint really feel that good under feet? But then I saw this post from U create...she has a list of darling painted rugs and I thought maybe I have been missing out on something kind of fun and special. I might rethink things and give it a try. Here are some of my favorites from that post...
