Remember to Check Your Pockets!
I have to agree with Loved Stiched that it is really annoying to find paper, pens, stickers, etc. in your clean laundry when you are pulling it out of the wash machine. No matter how much I tell my family I will probably continue to find pens and such in their pockets. (I know I should probably be checking it myself...) :) Love this idea for a Laundry Reminder - it's great!

Hanging Pictures Straight - Tip
A great tip to hanging pictures straight on the wall. (I always struggle with this) found the idea of TipJunkie.

"Lay the picture you are hanging face down. Take some masking tape or
painters tape (anything that is not very tacky so it won’t peel the paint off the wall) and
lay it over the hooks where the nails will go. Then use a pen to mark where the hooks are.
Next peel the tape off the picture frame and tape it on the wall at the height you want your picture to hang. Use a level to make sure it is straight."

Hi-Ho Cherry-o
Found of less cake more frosting

My daughter got the Hi-Ho Cherry-O game from our friends for her birthday. She loves it! So this idea caught my eye when I saw it. How smart is this for traveling games for the summer.
Fabric Mail and Mailbox
My kids having been making mailboxes and mail out of paper the last few days and delivering mail to each others rooms. I saw this and thought how much they would love it. Found of the Twelve Crafts Till Christmas site.
Chocolate Cream Angle Food Cake
This caught my eye when I saw it for two reasons. One: I love chocolate :), and Two I never thought of frosting an Angle Food Cake until I married my husband and saw his mom frost his. I was always more of an angle food cake with strawberries and whip cream kind of a girl, but I think after seeing this post on Home Sweet Home I will have to give frosting Angle Food Cakes another try. :)Saturday, June 12, 2010
